Reading up on what Blog sites are most successful, I have found they have WAY to much writing for me to follow. I get bored so easy and skip over wording if I see way too much. I figure I read a lifetime amount when I was in school and it REALLY has to capture me to keep me going, but these successful blogs are long. I also read I would have to guest blog to acquire readers. So I am going to start two versions of my blog a short and then a long version, I will indicate which is which in the title. So if you like me and can not stand reading long text, you can just review the short writes and look over the pictures. My next post is Suze Orman is Wrong, don’t retire at 70.

Second Marriage Bliss for the two of us, instead sulking after our divorces, we opened our hearts to new dreams and met online (Match.com). We married in 2016 and merged our single parent families together to raise our 5 teenagers, and work our way thru our newly blended family and our dream of retiring early to sleep more than 8 hours and travel the world. Yes, we both worked long hours, Dave is a Robot Programmer, Laura is a Diagnostic Medical Physicist. We put our kids before ourselves for years, saved and ate at home and now after years of all this sacrifice and raising our kids - we are closing in on empty nesters, and we realized we have the opportunity to retire early and follow our dreams to travel the world. How are we going to do this? Well we have a lot of ideas, but lets see how it works out. Our original retirement dates was January 1, 2021. We are reviewing the option of working another 3 years but prefer to keep the 2021 date, either way we will be retired by 55 years old - still trying to figure out how, but working toward our goal everyday, while enjoying each other and our blended family. Follow us to see what happens before and after our dream date. View all posts by David & Laura Speer
