We leave for our Family Summer Trip to – Paris, Toyko, and Amsterdam, soon and I still do not have our Paris and Toyko housing booked. This trip will be – David and myself, and three of our five children. Brett is in the Air Force and might join us in Amsterdam. I hopefully will book these locations tonight.
Housing Criteria: 1- Family friendly, fits five. 2- We need a separate bedroom for us – so we can have alone time from the kids. 3- Each kids needs a separate bed. 4- Close to the action – no reason to travel so far and be so far away from it all. 5- Reasonably priced – try and keep it in the $200/night range.
I am only looking at VRBO and AirBNB locations, to rent a house – two or three hotel rooms would be too costly. I started by researching the best locations in Tokyo. There are 23 areas that together make up the most populous part of Toyko, Japan.
We want action and keep it clean- so I narrowed it down to Three (3):
Shinjuku: Shinjuku is a special ward in Tokyo, Japan. It is a major commercial and administrative centre, housing the northern half of the busiest railway station in the world and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the administration centre for the government of Tokyo.
Shibuya: Shibuya is a special ward in Tokyo, Japan. A major commercial and business center, it houses the two busiest railway stations in the world.
Minato: Specifically within Roppongi, a lively entertainment district where locals and tourists mix in buzzing late-night bars and clubs. By day, the vast Roppongi Hills skyscraper complex draws foot traffic for its observation deck, designer fashion boutiques and the Mori Art Museum, with rotating exhibitions of international contemporary works. The nearby National Art Center is a sprawling gallery with a similar focus.
