Paris Lock Bridge – No more

Scroll down to content

Most of you have probably heard they took down the Love Locks at the Lock Bridge in Paris (across from the Lourve Museum). Typically the lovers initials, are inscribed on the padlock, and its key is thrown away to symbolize unbreakable love. I was there in 2008, but did not put one on the bridge at the time – I had a troubled marriage back then and my husband did not even go with us, but I found it enduring. I wanted to return to the bridge to check it out – and see what they have changed the bridge to, or if the locks came back.

Garion at the Lock Bridge – but with No Locks. Notice the clear plastic and now signatures all over the plastic.
